Disclosure Statement
Some of the books and products reviewed on my sites (Teach with Picture Books, Teaching that Sticks, and How to Teach a Novel) are received from publishers or authors. This in no way influences which titles I choose to include in reviews or lesson plans. The books I receive are in turn shared with colleagues and friends for placement in school and classroom libraries.
In some instances I will offer extra copies as giveaways on this site; those copies were similarly received without obligation from publishers and are mailed to drawing winners at my personal expense. I do not work for, nor receive remuneration from, any publisher, PR agency, or author, unless specifically noted in a post.
I will not publish a negative review of any book. I reserve the right to name only those titles which I feel will assist teachers, tutors, and parents in meeting instructional objectives. I absolutely welcome suggestions for titles and themes from readers and publishers alike, but will not accept incentives to promote either.
My site is linked through an affiliate account to Amazon.com. When blog readers originate a purchase via one of my links, I receive a small commission of the sale (at no additional cost to the purchaser). This financial support allows me to cover postage costs associated with book giveaways.
I appreciate your support of my sites!
